Holding Chartered Financial Analyst designation, Monmouth Beach resident Daniel Zimmerman is active with CFA Society New York (formerly the New York Society of Security Analysts). A longtime Goldman, Sachs & Co. executive, Daniel Zimmerman most recently engaged as co-portfolio manager and had responsibilities guiding the Small/Mid Cap Growth Fund (GSMYX). Achieving high Morningstar ratings on a sustained basis, he was able to achieve consistent returns.

Mr. Zimmerman earned his bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting at the University of Richmond magna cum laude and was an Arthur Andersen Accounting Merit Scholarship recipient. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2003 and was a member of the Global Investment Research Division, covering sectors such as telecommunication services, mortgage, and specialty finance.

Mr. Zimmerman’s research achievements have been recognized over the years by Bloomberg and in publications such as Investor's Business Daily. His groundbreaking research on mortgage leaders Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2008 drew particular attention. Active in his community, he enjoys sports such as baseball and basketball in his leisure time.
